Josh McCrossin - Head Coach
Coach McCrossin is entering his 4th season at the helm of the Blue Devil Football program. This last season the Blue Devils went 8-2 on their way to Corvallis's best Football season in over 45 years with highlights such as...

-
The First Home Semi-Final Playoff Appearance in School History
-
Lead the State in Scoring Defense (8.2 ppg)
-
The 2nd Most Win's in a Single Season in School History
-
Most Win's in a Single Season since joining Class "A"
-
Snapped a 21 year Road Losing Streak to Rival Hamilton High School

The 2023 Season saw the Blue Devils jump out to a 5-0 record in tremendous fashion, outscoring their opponents 190-6 in that span. The team then experienced their first lost of the season to the eventual State-Champion Dillon Beavers in a hard fought homecoming game, but that would prove to be their last loss of the season until the State Semi-Final Game. For the first time in School History the Blue Devils posted a 2-2 record against Ranked opponents, and the only 2 Blue Devil losses in 2023 came from the teams that played for the State Championship.

A record setting season naturally saw some individual school records fall as well, such as All-Conference QB Aydan Mayn becoming the School Record Holder for Passing TD's in a Career, All-State WR Dillen Potter becoming a Triple School Record Holder (for Receptions in a Career - Recieving Yards in a Career - and Recieving TD's in a Career), and All-State Safety Gideon Boswell tied a State Record with 4 Kick Returns for TD's this season. Not to be outdone by the Offense, the Blue Devil Defense had one of the best seasons in school history by allowing only 4 Rushing TD's on the season and limiting opponents to only 8.2 ppg.

With 10 years Coaching Experience, Coach McCrossin came to Corvallis from Glasgow High School (MT) were he served as Offensive Coordinator and TE/H-Back Coach from 2016-2020. As a Coordinator at Glasgow he helped inherit a 2-8 program and in three seasons helped produce 3 winning records, 3 playoff births, as well as an appearance in the 2020 Class B State Semifinal game. The Offense over those three seasons averaged 31.7 ppg, and in 2020 the Scottie Offense broke the school record for Points Scored in a Single Season with 442 points (36.8 ppg). Prior to Glasgow, he also coached at Carroll College from 2014-2016 and helped specifically with the Defensive Line and Outside Linebacker position groups.

Growing up in Darby MT, Coach McCrossin was a 3-Sport Athlete and All-Conference Linebacker and Point Guard for the Tigers. Coach McCrossin is married to his wife Annah and has two daughters, Emmi and Tilly. He is also currently a Physical Education and Driver Education Teach for Corvallis School District.
